Alpline cable protect is a special re-greasing agent for ropes that efficiently protects wire ropes of ropeways against the effects of weather and wear, thereby increasing the service life of the rope. The product is pre-diluted with a special solvent in the factory, resulting in very good application. Once the solvent has evaporated, a thin, incredibly adhesive, water-repellent protective film is formed.

I. Description of Alpline cable protect

• Motorex Alpline cable protect is a special cable relubricant, which efficiently protects wire cables
  for cable cars against the effects of weather and wear, thus extending the service life of the cable. A special solvent is used in the factory to dilute the product,therefore making it very easy to apply. After the solvent has evaporated, the agent forms a thin, waterrepellent film with very good adhesion.

II. Advantages of Motorex Alpline cable protect

1. • Prevents corrosion and internal wear of wire cables
   • Extends the service life of wire cables
   • Neutral vis-à-vis the most common inserts used in cable and driving pulleys for cable cars
   • No compatibility problems with the most common basic cable lubricants
   • Economical application, only once or twice a year

III. Application of Motorex Alpline cable protect

• ALPINE CABLE PROTECT may only be applied to dry and cleaned wire cables. A sprayer should be used for application and the temperature should be >+10°C. The quantity of oil required depends on the cable manufacturer and the calculation formula. Wait for the solvent to dissipate before starting up the system again.

  • For stranded ropes:
  <30 g per m² cable surface
  • For fully enclosed carrying cables:
  <15 g per m² cable surface
  • Storage: Firmly closed, in dry and cool environment
  • If possible, the product should be used up within a
  short time
  • Only dilute using ALPINE CABLE SOLVENT, if required.
