I. Features of D-5026NS

• A medium to heavy duty water displacing, thin film corrosion preventive compound
• Forms a film which provides lubricity to prevent fretting corrosion as well as a film which prevents oxidation of the substrate
• Contains no ozone depleting chemicals
• Provides corrosion protection in the harshest environments
• Protects electrical connectors from corroding
• Does not disrupt contact between connectors
• Prevents fretting corrosion
• Contains a film that prevents oxidation of the substrate
• Free from heavy metals
• Free of chromates
• Low toxicity
• Withstands temperatures as low as -55°C (-67°F) and as high as 85°C (185°F) continuously
• Coating can withstand temperatures up to 105°C (221°F) for only 500 hours cumulative

II. Applications of D-5026NS

Intended for use on :

• Highly critical metal surfaces
• Avionic components
• Interior and exterior aircraft surfaces
• Cables
• Electrical connectors
• D-5026NS can be used for initial protection during shipment and storage and for in-service treatment of critical areas.
• D-5026NS can be used in conjunction with the Formit^® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be coated. Please refer to our Formit^® technical data sheet for more information.
• One aerosol covers approximately 140 ft² (13m²)
• When storing D-5026NS, store in 40°F-100°F (4°C-38°C). For removal of D-5026NS, use D-5640NS, Sur-Prep^® 3160, or Sur-Prep^® 3167.
